Family Field Trips
Filling in the gap between home and school, Mentor Co-Operative strives to involve families in their childs' preschool experiences. Teachers arrange and host multiple family field trips, per year. Some of the trips include Lake Farm Park, Pattersons Farms, and Penitentiary Glen Nature Play.
Online Programs
At Mentor Co-Op, we recognize and appreciate diversity and the special traditions that our families celebrate. A few times a year students take part in programs or plays that we record and share with you on class dojo, or our Facebook page for parents only.
Being that this is your childs first time in a school setting, we believe that forcing them to be in front of a crowd can add extra stress to their progress and growth. Due to this, we will post programs online for your enjoyment.
Movie Nights & Fundraisers
Mentor Co-Operative Preschool thrives on family and community involvement. We pride ourselves for offering affordable, quality care. In order to always provide up to date materials, unique learning experiences, and special events. To do this we rely on support from families within our organization. Our events coordinator arranges annual fundraisers which are open to everyone. Participation is crucial to the financial well being of our cooperative.
One of our main fundraisers offered at our school are our annual movie nights. These movie nights are scheduled every few months and are hosted by our teachers on a Saturday evening. Students and their siblings are welcomed to enjoy a pizza, a craft, a movie, and games. This gives students a chance to socialize outside of class and is also a nice break for parents. Information for this event is posted and sent home prior to the date.
