Mentor Co-Operative Preschool Inc.

Established in 1962 our mission in the true sense of a “Co-Operative” addresses the importance of both children and parent participation.

Our goal for children at Mentor Co-Operative Preschool is to provide an age-appropriate learning environment and foundation that encourages growth through exploration of the world around them.

For parents, we provide an opportunity to actively participate in their child’s development while gaining a better appreciation of their parental role.

With this in mind, parents, children, and teachers alike can look forward to many exciting and successful years at Mentor Co-Operative Preschool.

Our program is designed to make your child’s introduction to a learning program pleasant and stimulating.  It provides the opportunity for your child to learn within a group of peers that promotes social development.  Our teachers assist each child with their development into a more curious, self-confident, informed, and responsible young person.

 The parents of the students are the owners and operators of the school.  They take an active part in the preservation of the school by being a Board Member, or by volunteering for any of our special events.  We actively encourage all parents to attend board meetings and participate in any changes within the school. With the parents’ involvement, our school has been able to offer affordable, high quality education with excellent, certified teachers for over 50 years! Here at Mentor Co-Operative Preschool your voice is important, and we want to hear it..

We operate strictly on tuition and fundraising and are a state licensed, non-profit, non-discriminatory cooperative organization.
